The Museum is set to reopen 10am Friday 28th September. An official opening is planned for later in the year.
Why has it taken 6 months to reach this milestone you may ask? Moving into a smaller area in the Community Centre has meant agonising decisions on what objects to display. Will it stay or will it be stored?
A small band of dedicated volunteers have spent hours arranging and rearranging displays, labelling and painting and the Museum is now ready to be opened to the Community.
Our extensive digitised photo collection has increased thanks to the professional expertise of our Digital Archivist, Dave Cotton.
The increase in rent at the Community Centre and the cost of renting a storage shed has meant there will be an admission charge to cover costs. We look forward to your support.
