Lady Jane on the Move

From Bermagui Industrial Estate

to Centre Stage on Dickinson Oval

Opening night of the Four Winds 2019 Easter Festival

A free Community Concert held on Good Friday, 19th April

Taking its inspiration from Lady Jane – a disused Bermagui Fishing Boat – this especially commissioned performance on Dickinson Oval celebrated historical recollections and events relating to Bermagui’s fishing and coastal heritage from a range of different perspectives.

Stories from members of the community were told alongside original dance, songs and music performed by Festival musicians and artists.

The performance was generously supported by Regional Arts NSW.

Featuring: Sam Thomas (director), Eliza Hull (MC/composer/performer), Lee Pemberton (choreographer); Iris White (Welcome To Country), Lisa Young (composer/conductor), Coco’s Lunch (vocal), Gulaga Dancers, Bega Valley Youth Choir, Friday Choir, Geoffrey Badger (guitar), Jason Henery (double bass), Mark Robinson (percussion), Ruby Newell (percussion), and James Crabb (classical accordion)
